Profiting off people’s pain
A lot of therapists I work with struggle with the fear of being seen.
Another one that comes up a lot is feeling like they’re profiting off people’s pain.
I get it. Traditional marketing advice says to focus on your customers' pain points.
But when you’re marketing therapy, this can feel icky.
The key here is you’re not exploiting anyone. You’re offering a service to help people.
It would be different if you were using their pain to sell them something they didn’t need.
