The fear of being seen

If you have a fear of being seen, you’re not alone. A lot of therapists I work with do.

It makes sense. You’re used to listening to your clients, not talking about yourself.

So marketing feels uncomfortable. But if people don’t know you exist, then you can’t help them.

How do you get over the fear of being seen?

By stepping outside of your comfort zone. Post a video of yourself on social media. Guest on a podcast. Speak at a conference.

As my friend Susan David says, “discomfort is where growth happens.”
