Should you invest in marketing when things are slow?
Have your referrals slowed down?
If so, you’re not alone. Referrals are slow for therapists across the board right now due to economic and political uncertainty.
Should you invest in marketing when things are slow?
Like most things, it depends. Do you need to spend money to acquire clients? What about non-paid channels? Can you tap into your referral network?
The most important thing is to avoid panic spending. You probably don’t need to spend $5,000 on a group coaching program that promises to fill your caseload in 30 days.
If you’re going to spend money, I’d recommend investing in your website, which I call your “real estate on the internet.”
I’d also recommend meeting with a marketing consultant like myself to get advice and feedback on your current marketing. You can book a strategy session with me here.
