Stop using inspirational quotes on your therapy website

I’ve seen a lot of therapy websites.

Many of them have inspirational quotes from people like Brene Brown, Carl Rogers, and Carl Jung.

It’s not that there’s anything inherently bad about inspirational quotes. They don’t add value to your website.

If you do want to include a quote on your website, include an endorsement from someone who knows you to build social proof.

You can also quote yourself, although quoting yourself on your own website if you’re in solo practice feels a little weird. I wouldn’t do that. It’s okay to quote yourself if you’re the owner of a group practice.
