Therapist search report

Do you know what shows up when you Google yourself?

Some therapists were recently surprised to find profiles they didn’t create using their names on a website called “7 Cups.”

7 Cups isn’t the first to create “ghost” profiles using publicly available therapist data to boost their SEO. Remember CareDash

In response to these bad actors, Jon Suster from Quill Therapy Solutions has been aggregating and analyzing search result data for therapists, resulting in a free and publicly-available weekly Therapist Search Report that highlights general trends.

The hope is that, over time, they can help raise awareness about how therapists are represented on the internet and which websites are worth investigating.

In addition to the general report, they’re also offering a free personal search report. You can sign up with your name and email address and have your first report generated in a few seconds, detailing which websites show up when people search for your name specifically.

Each week, this report will automatically generate again, highlighting the shifts in those search results week-to-week, and you will receive an email with those changes. If a new website is suddenly appearing in your search results, you should know about it and confirm that it's valid.

Over time, they hope this report will help you regain control over how you’re represented in your results.
